What did you say? I don't Understand...

There were at least eight persons that came out of the ark after the flood. Noah and his wife, his three children and their wives... A new beginning of human race. Were they the best? were they righteous? did they committed to follow God and teach their children's children to do the same? Have they learned the lesson?

The first thing that Noah did was to offer some animals, This is an act of worship but at the same time a substitute for Noah's life and his family. God was so pleased by that act of Noah and he promised never to destroy life again with flood. I am not sure if Noah and his children believe this. I am not sure also what they told the next generation about the flood, but it seems to be that they over emphasized on the dreadful flood rather than the promise of God. So after few generations, the people are trying to prepare for another flood. They did not believed God nor believed on His promise that "never will He destroy living things with flood". The people started to build a tower that is very very tall, they thought that if the flood comes, they will just climb the top and be saved.

Observing from afar, God again was sad about this action. It is another attempt to be independent from God, to live a life on their own and not believing God of what He said. Man is again determined to defy God, not just individually but as whole human race, they are so united in defying God.

God in His mercy, has to take action because if this will continue, this is another candidate for His judgment. So, God confused their language in such a way that they could not understand each. At least they could no longer connive with each other in defying God. There were about 70 languages that was formed and the people group themselves according to their language. Hehehehe imagine yourself living during that time, suddenly when you speak, a different sounds and words are coming out of your mouth, and when your friends speaks, you could longer understnad him!!!! and suddenly your enemy or your mother-in-law speaks the same as you do hehehehe..

The Book started to call this group of people with the same language as "Nations" and from this time on God will be reaching out people, nation after nation until all the nations will be represented in is Kingdom...

The Judgment...

Man has really went out on his way, he asserts his independence from God, from generation to generation the children of Adam and Eve became worst. Although God was so sad to see man choose his path, but He did not remove their freedom. God wished for Man to come to Him voluntarily in Love. But Man continued to drift away from God, and God has no choice but to slowly let them go. "Although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator- Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. " When sinfulness of man come to its fullness, God with all sadness has to declare the judgment. It is what His law requires. He sent a tremendous floods that fill the earth, all the people died and other animals that creep on the ground. But, thank God He spared one family in order to start all over again...

Two Ways to Go...

God gave Man the way to relate to Him, that of offering a sacrifice so that they can be made clean and holy so that he approach God and God can fellowship with Man without compromising His character of absolute holiness. But Man wanted to come to God in their own terms or do not want to come God all. The first two children of Man name Cain and Abel illustrated this behavior. Cain wanted to come to God in his own terms so instead of offering animal with shed blood for his sins he offered fruits and crops harvested from his farm although he knows that what God requires is an animal. Abel on the other hand come into terms with God according to God's instruction. So God accepted the offering of Abel and rejected the offering of Cain. Remember God's formula? sin=death, there must be something or someone that must die so that sin will be canceled out and become holy and be made acceptable to God because God is a holy God and his holiness is absolute.
Cain became jealous and furious about this rejection. Instead of coming back to God with a right offering, he went to Abel and killed him. Oh! this is sad. He continued in this behavior until his heart was hardened and became rebellious. The next generations have continued to drift away from God until such time that all his desires are evil his heart's inclination are all going from bad to worst. God was very sad about what he saw. His enemy however is laughing from ear to ear, Satan and his demons are very active in ushering men to sin, he sow anger, lust, jealousy, love of material things and power, he entered man's culture, social. political and spiritual affairs in order to give glory to self and others except to God. Even the last good thing in the man, the conscience and moral values which is part of God's image was used to glorify self and use in pride that somehow they are better than others because they are so righteous in their own ways. This state of the Man is still very noticeable today.Can we blame Satan for this? No, no, when God created Man and the angels including those who revolted against Him, He created them with their own freedom of choice. The Angels have their freedom of choice so does the Man. Satan can influence Man but Man can choose not to follow, He can choose to obey God or not, therefore he can also choose to obey Satan or not. " What a freedom..." but also " what a responsibility"...

The Substitute...

In God's efforts to reach out to man and at the same time not violate His character, He provided a way for man to come to God. The Law of God says that the penalty of sin is death, big or small, death is still what it deserve. Why? because God's holiness is absolute, no minute sin is acceptable before God. So the equation is Sin=Death. He made it clear to Adam and Eve, that "the moment you eat the fruit that I told you not to, you will surely die" Death means separation. So immediately Adam and Eve were separated from God and this state has made them miserable because that was not their design. This separation will continue to eternity and the place of confinement will be from bad to worst.

So God said, " substitute is allowed and possible". That means someone can die in lieu of the one who sins. He looked around, and started to narrow down the choices for substitutes. He look at the sky and found none because everything in it are without life to give. he look at the angels...... well, Lucifer and his cohorts can not pay for others' sins because they have their own. How about the good angels? well, they have no flesh and blood like Man whom they are supposed to substitute. He look at mankind, and found no one who have no sin, therefore all are disqualified. And suddenly He look at His Son, and their eyes met... and said "Son both of us Love this man we have created would you be willing to give your life for them?" ... "Yes Father I am willing ...." the mixed feeling between the Father and the Son was overwhelming.

For the mean time that the appointed time of Son to come has not arrive yet... He said to Man "go and make a temporary sin-substitute from the best of your animals. Kill and offer them to me. Regularly do this because every animal you offer is only good for the sin commit for that period...". For so long this is Man's way of connecting back to God, but this is just temporary, a band aid solution...

The Battle Has Begun....

When did God thought of the BIG Plan? Yes, before he created man and Lucifer. When Lucifer revolted against God he too, has a big plan specially when he saw God creating Man, his big plan was get man on his side, and he succeeded, he made man disobey God and obeyed him. He must be very happy with this first victory, laughing out loud to top of his voice... then he heard God that the man with his wife will multiply and fill the earth. Ahaa, he thought to himself so there will be more! so crafted a comprehensive plan for each man that will be born on earth, if God send a guardian angel for each person then why not do the same? His purpose is to kill, destroy, to lure man so that man will continue to live by himself and will not need God. But Man as created in the image of God did not lost all his God-image character, part of him still crave for God, he will try some anesthetic to numb that longing and vacuum for God, but he will find out that nothing could satisfy him except God. But the problem is he separated from God. It is like lovers who live far from each other. God also longs to embrace man but he can not, His holiness is too difficult for man to bear. If he will let man stay on his side with his sin he will surely die. man can't do anything about this. So God has to intervene. God told Satan, "I am going to send SOMEONE, you will hurt Him yes, but He will finish you, He will crush your head". This happen right after Satan succeeded in luring the Man to sin against God. I do not know what was Satan's answer to this. was he scared? did he laugh at God? I do not know but But the Battle has begun, God on one side and Satan on the other side. The Battlefield? the MAN.

What is it in a Man?

Before I start unfolding the BIG plan, I can not go on without asking "What is it in a Man, that God His creator be mindful of him?" He has created billions of living and non-living things here on earth and the whole universe, He has created millions of angels but nothing has captivated Him like the Man that He has created. What is in a Man? Is man so attractive? Did He anchored His existence on Man that without Man He would find His existence as God meaningless? what is in a Man? Personally, I do not know the whole reason. There is only one thing I know, that He is very affectionate about Man, He choose Man to be the object of His Love which is one of His attributes. He just love Man without reason? I'm not sure of this but knowing God to be self sufficient, that means He can exist on His own even without anything and be completely happy. What could be the reason for loving Man? Personally, I can not fathom the answeres to this questions, but that is exactly what God says, he loves Man not because Man can give Him something. This idea has made me humble, speechless and in awe when I think of His Love for Man.

With Lucifer's Revolt and with Man's disobedience (subtle revolt) God has now two problems: Satan has usurp part of His Kingdom and determined to give Him good fight on one hand and on the other hand Man who was mired with Sin can no longer come to Him neither can He just tolerate Man's sinfulness because it would violate His character.

If I am to play as God, I will just erase everything and start all over again, and this time I will see to it that Angels and Man will have no power to disobey nor revolt against Me. they will not have will of their own, they can not reason out, they are just the same as robots... How would you like to be one of those man-robot? But, thinking deep about my new creation personally I do not like the idea, I like the way God created Man, so does He. So He set the BIG PLAN, when? after Lucifer revolted and Man fall into Sin? no no no! His BIG Plan was before He created the Angels and Man. What? What kind of God is he? He knows already that Lucifer will revolt against Him and that Man will disobey Him why did he created them in the first place? I do not know fully, but He proceeded with the BIG Plan. The Objectives of the BIG Plan was to get back the part of the Kingdom that was usurp by Lucifer and to redeemed back some Men to Himself. How did he do this? well, its not finished yet but the major part of this BIG Plan was already accomplished.. I will tell you more in my next post...

The BIG Plan...

When God created His second special creation, He named Adam and put him in the planet earth which he made just enough to support life. This man is special because he was created in His image but a physical being. quite different from the angels who are spirits. The man was special partner of God in taking care of the earth where lives thrive. It was this man who named the other creation. God treated him not as servant but friend. However, God gave him just one limitation and that of not eating a certain fruit of a tree in the place where He put him, the garden of Eden. He then gave him a wife by the name of Eve.

Immediately, His enemy, Lucifer now called Satan noticed this new creation who now became the apple of God's eyes. He remembered that once in was him who had this kind of attention from God. He did not waste time and immediately launch a subtle attack against this new creation. He did not stop until the Man disobeyed God on the limitation God gave him. Satan used the glittering attraction of power. Like himself he deceived Man to commit the same mistake that he committed before, that is declaring independence from God. So, man like Satan has now severed his relationship with God. Unlike Satan who was determine to give God a good fight, Man has just lost God, and started to live a miserable life. He started to live away from God. God was sad about this, but He could not just compromise one of His attributes which is absolute holiness. In His presence, there will be no sin that could exist. He looked Man at his state and was dismayed. Unlike when Satan revolted against God, God did not plan to bring Him back to Him but when Man disobeyed God, He put up a big Plan to win man back to Him. And this this the exciting part of the story.... What is this BIG PLAN? watch this plan unfold in this blog...

Let's Revolt.....I declare Independence...

In telling the story about the two very special creation of God, I would like to start with the Angels. When God established His Heavenly Kingdom the angels are companion in the the heaven, the angels worship Him day and Night, some of them has specific task, one of their task is to watch every human being and to bring messages to mankind. God and the angels also has a very loving relationship, the angels worship God in love and in awe. There is an indication that they are also organized in to groups and there are leaders assigned in every groups. How many angels God created? well, multitudes, there is enough for each human being as guardian angel plus the other tasks so it could be billions. Their over-all leader is the most handsome and most beautiful creature name Lucifer. God put Him in-charge of all His angels, God gave Him extra ordinary power and strength. He has the beauty and power and God gave Him freedom of choice and to will. One day Lucifer has thought about himself and what he has. Finally he came into conclusion, that he is like God his creator, because he can do many of God can do. Then He thought to himself, "why should I be following God if I am also like God" So he summoned all the angels and told them that he is declaring independence from God and that he wanted to revolt against God. He easily convinced one third (1/3) of the angels. He now declare an all out war against God. Wow!!! a creation who revolted against his Creator. He became the enemy of God, and determined to give God a good fight.... This battle will go on in all our known history... watch this unfolds in this blogsite.

Two Special Creatures...

It appeared to be that the coming of the Man with the Mission is part of a grandeur's plan. The plan was so big that all other things that are happening around us is just but a small part of the this Big Plan. What happen to Iraq, to America, to Cuba, to Israel, to Russia and the the remotest places in Africa and Asia are all part of this Big Plan. It covers even man's going to outer space, the internet, the unification of Europe, unification of Banking System. Practically, everything that we see and what we will see and all the History that man can remember are part of this Big Plan. On this big plan the coming of this "Man with the Mission" is very significant. That is why almost every point and stages of our time is pointed back to Him. The reason why it is 2008 today is because of His birth which becomes the reference of our time. Huh!! are somehow ready to know what this BIG Plan is to which our very life is attached to it?

Well, I will start from the very beginning, so that we can put everything in place. All of us a sense of what we call the Highest Being, all the people around the world call Him different names. In fact, several thousand names but universally He is called God. As He is called by different names He is also known in different ways but there is one common attribute of God, and that is is He is the Creator of all things including Man. Of course we we can nor discount the claim of theory of evolution but it remained to be a theory for so long, because it can not answer "where does the things that evolve come from?' It will always point to someone has created it. So there is a creator and that there is God.

I will start with the creation, there are several versions that we can hear all around the world about creation, but in general, God created the heavens. Relatively, when we say heavens it could mean the whole universe with all the constellation, planets, moons, and stars. Secondly, he created the earth with all that is in it. Almost all living things are capable of reproducing their own kinds and adopt to its environment, its the reason why you might see it in different appearance in some other time. Together with these creations is a very special creation, that is Man. Special because, Man was created in the image of his Creator. Man is rational being, He has a very strong emotion and most of all, he is a spiritual being, he can communicate with his creator and he can love. that is why man is very very special. Another group of spiritual being that God has created are Angels. It differs from man in several aspects, angels are not limited with time and space. They remain as spirits and there for can not be seen by the naked eyes of man, but sometimes on special occasion Man can see and communicate with them. They are servants of God and they are ready to take and execute orders from God. Angels are also rational and has the freedom of choice. These two special creations are the center of God's Big Plan. In my next post I will focus my discussions on these two creation. What was their state before today and in the future....

Three Years to compete....

After He was publicly introduced, that He was the one that they are waiting for, the man with the Mission of Saving the World form its Sin, what did He do? Did he immediately went to work? Did He started gathering the people and convince then some more that He is indeed the Man that they are waiting for? Did he immediately lay down His plan and recruit leaders? Did He formed an army? Did he started fund raising for His campaign? Did he went to the authorities and assert His right as the Man that they are waiting for? Surprisingly, none of these first things that an authorized leader should be done was done by the "Man with the Mission" Instead, He backed off and went to the dessert and for 40 days He was there alone praying and fasting. After He was introduced, He was nowhere to find. The people whom the "Introducer" pointed to Him are waiting and looking for Him. Was he a coward Leader? where is he now? But the Man with the Mission was never disturbed of what others would say, He knows that the Mission was extra ordinary "Saving the whole world" wow!!! the whole entire planet!!! The task is huge, no telecommunication, no airplanes, no internet, no high powered firearms nothing but a simple Man known as the son of a carpenter from the Province of Galilee. So with the huge task ahead and with nothing in His hand, He choose the right thing to do. To spend time with the one who sent Him, and focused on inquiring, asking, get encouragement from the one who is the source of everything. Forty days and forty nights,He just did that, an uninterrupted time with the overall planner of what he is to do. When He came out of the dessert, he is full of confidence "He is going to do the impossible Mission in 3 years" What can He accomplish in three years? Can he get His relatives believe on Him in three years? Can He even go out of His place in three years? If He start walking can he tour the whole world in 3 years? .... hehehehe hardly, that is I am really excited to tell you how He is going to do it...

The Introducer...

All the towns and villages were agitated by a man near the dessert. This man was shouting as if he was crazy. He was wearing a camel's hair and a leather belt around his waist and was eating only locust and honey. But when people started to stop by and listen to what he was saying, they recognized that his message makes sense. they recognized that he was talking about the thing that they've been waiting for. In my previous post I was telling you that almost all of the people where the "Man with the Mission" was born were expecting His coming. People read from the same old Book, that before the coming of the Man with the Mission somebody will be preparing His way, and suddenly, this strange looking man was there shouting about the coming of the Man . So the news easily spread around and multitude of people were coming to him to hear for themselves what he was saying. Basically, his message was "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near" Upon hearing this, people were weeping and submitting themselves to this man. However, this man did not fail to tell the people that he was not the one that they are waiting for, but he came ahead to prepare the way and in order to introduce Him to them.
The time has come for the Man with the Mission to come to his introducer and be be declared the "The Man that they have been Waiting for, the Man with the Mission". the ceremony was short and done in the river but it was very powerful because of the extraordinary thing that happened. The Spirit came like a dove and the voice was heard testifying that this Man is the Man with the Mission. The Introducer then started to fade away as he continued to point people to follow the Man with the Mission.
The introducer continue to shout about corruptions, immorality which cost him to land in jail because he was now talking against the sins of the leaders during that time. If the not because of the respects and honor he received from the populace he could easily end up in beating to death. But during the birthday of the leader, his head was asked as a prize for a dance performance. and that was end of his role as the introducer.
I believe that each one of has role to play in this life. Do you know your role? are willing to pursue that role until the end, like the introducer?

They Seem to be Expecting...

Almost all the early people who recognized Him seemed to have a pre-knowledge that somebody was coming, and everyone seems to be waiting for this Man. so when the strange creature told them that He was to be born (His mother, step father, auntie and uncle) , or He was already born (the animal keeper, the respectable man, the old man and woman) there seems to be no more trace of disbelief about the news. In other words the news that "He has come" was not a strange news but rather a climax of the news that they have been hearing and waiting for so long.... well, where did they get this pre-knowledge? Certainly, there is one source where they get this knowledge, it seems to be that their expectations of His coming was synchronized. You are right, they have a common Book written by their forefathers which are passed on to them. Aside from this book, there was the word of mouth about what happened in the past. And this book is very interesting because what was written there several centuries ago are now starting to unfold before their very eyes. Ahh no person will not be amazed if he happen to read a book written 1500 BC and while reading he is seeing what was written on it. This Book is the same reference that I am using in writing this Articles. One of the reason why I believe this Book is there are so many things written on its First part (1500 B.C - 400 B.C.) were just happening and is written in its Second Part (Last half of the century 40A.D. - 95 A.D.) . One of the most important figure which can be found all over the First Part of the Book is this Man that I am talking about. Let me share to you a link to verify that this Man is authentic. Amazing Kid..

There was not much records about His growth from childhood until he was 32 years old but there are two sentences that described the growth of this Man with the Mission.
" the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.
And He grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. " I can see at least four areas that this Man grew. Physically- He grew up strong, probably because His step father was a carpenter and it is not presumptuous that he helped his father for their living. Intellectually - It says that He was full with wisdom, not just knowledge but wisdom. Wisdom is an applied knowledge for righteous living. Spiritually- the grace of God was upon Him and in favor with God. Socially- He did not only enjoy God's favor but also favor from men. He must have a very good relationship among His neighbors and lived a very balanced life. His growth is what everyone wanted to follow. A good guide also for rearing children.

There was one event recorded about His teenage years and that was when He was 12 years old. Yearly, his parents will always go the the capital city to celebrate a certain feast, the Capital City was about 3 days walk from their place, but it never a boring journey since their friends and relatives are traveling together, you could imagine their playful walk and uninterrupted storytelling, and when tired they will stop and eat their packed foods, sharing and comparing foods etc. etc. After the feast they will travel the same route back home. It was one of this journey back home that suddenly His parents after a day traveled noticed that the 12 year old boy was not part of the caravan. So they have other choice but tho go back to the Capital to look for Him. You can imagine how upset His parents were. When they arrived at the Capital they found their Son in the middle of teachers and learned men debating. So instead of getting mad they were amazed how their little boy able to engage in that debate with confidence, the teachers and the scholars were also stunned by the boy, of course if I am the father I would feel very proud of my Son. I would probably clap for every rebuttal he'll make. And the amazing thing was he was at home where he was, the Temple, their center of worship that it was fine with Him even if His parents did not came back to look for Him.

We'll we may ask, who is this little boy? Where did His wisdom coming from? Why is He at home in the Temple?

The Oldies Got it First.....

There are few people who recognized early this man with a mission. As mentioned in my previous posts, there are His mother, His step father, the group of Animal caretakers and the group of respectable men from far away places. Of course the king who almost killed Him had a hint of His birth. I would like to add few more who were certain that indeed the baby that was born was the Man with the Mission.
One of those was a couple of old age, in fact they knew about Him and His coming ahead of His own mother and step father. The message again came from the strange creature who has been doing the legwork in preparation of His coming. The old woman was the cousin of His mother and the old man, her husband was a religious worker working in their place of worship. the message of the strange creature for the old man was not directly about the Man with the Mission but about their own son who will play a big role in introducing this Man with the Mission to people around their place. For them, the highlight of the news was about them bearing a child in their old age. Hehehehehe, They've been waiting for that for a long time... In their culture, it was a disgrace for couple not to have a child, so, somehow they have been living as a couple ridiculed for a long time for not having a child. But the time has come.... and in their old age!! The old woman got pregnant ahead of her cousin, and one day when the two pregnant women met, the child in the old woman's womb recognized the child in another womb and was jumping and leaping inside the womb. That strange movement of the child was very noticeable as declared by his old mother hehehehe. I wonder how does it feel to have something leaping and jumping inside your womb. So this was the time they knew who is the Man with Mission even if He was not born yet.
Another old man who knew He was the one because he was living a good life and was promised by the Deity that he will see the Man with the Mission before he die. And when the time of the presentation of the child in the house of worship came, the Deity told him to go to and have a glance of the child. Wow!!! this is the moment that he has been waiting for... he did not waste his time and went... The parents the child were surprised with what the old man said.

Another old woman had a privilege to know and see Him as a baby. These old woman has been staying in the house of worship for long, in fact she almost live there. Day and night she was wishing that she could see this Child before she dies. that same moment that the old man saw the child that was also the time that this old woman had a glance of Him.

So these are the early birds, all oldies, what was common among them aside from their ages? We'll I guess was all of them were expecting the coming of this "Man with the Mission" . Where did they get this idea that this man is coming?

He was almost killed!!! ...

When the group of respectable men came to pay tribute to Him, they happened to passed by the King's Palace, because for a short time they missed the star that was guiding them. Well the king politely gave them some hint which he solicited fro his adviser where these men should go and told them that if they found the child he begged them to comeback and inform him so that he too can pay a tribute. Definitely it was a trap, he is the reigning king! what a heck!! these people are saying that there is another King that was born!... Now tell me. if you are the king what will you do? you're right, you put this threat down as early as possible.

Again the strange creature have done his role, he warned the group of respectable men not to go back to the Palace and take another route back to their home. After sometime, the king noticed that he was tricked by those respectable men. He got furious and ordered to murdered all male children, 2 years old and below, thinking that if what those respectable people say is true then He must be below two years old. and therefore could not escape his order of infanticide.

Before this happened the strange creature has warned the boy's parents of what will happen and told them to leave the place and escape. they stayed outside the king's territory and they did not come not until the king died and was replaced by another king. So part of His childhood was spent in a foreign land.

The role of this strange creature was very significant. Who are these strange creatures? how they look like? definitely they are not human being, they possess certain supernatural characteristics, but it appeared to be " that they are there to served this Person with the Mission". Who is these Person then that he has these kind of servants?

His Humble Birth....

While this Person was conceived supernaturally but His birth was the opposite. His mother was about to give birth to Him when suddenly there was a approved law that everyone must registered themselves to their place of origin which is about 3 days travel by foot. With possibly a donkey with them, the whole family traveled where His (step)father was born. When they arrived in the place it was her time to give birth. They look for place where they can stay but to no avail, every house was just full because of so many visitors who came, also to register. So they settle on a makeshift where the animals are kept during night time. His father probably just moved the animals a little bit and gathered some hays and made it a bed for his wife and the baby. Probably the house nearby helped in the delivery but generally there was no complication and the baby was healthy.

Comparing the Mission of this boy and His humble birth, they are miles apart. At this point, nobody has recognized this great man with great Mission except His parents. If I was his (step) father I will begin to doubt that strange creature told me several months ago. As a mother though, she knows that this baby is extra ordinary because of the way He was conceived, she knows that she had no physical relations with anybody when she got pregnant. He was pondering with all of these thoughts when suddenly a group of animal caretakers arrived in the place, they said that they came to pay a tribute to their baby. This somehow cleared some doubts from his (step) father. How can these animal care taker knew that the baby is not an ordinary baby? In their conversation he knew that the same strange creature who met with him few months ago is the same creature who told these bunch of animal care taker that the Savior was born and told them exactly where he was born, that is why they are there. Now If am his (step)father my continence would change, I would believe anybody who truly orchestrated this things. It was hard to believe but if it is right in front of me who can refuse to believe it.

Not only the animal caretaker came, after few weeks another group of people came, this time these are not ordinary people, they were men of respect and belong to the high level of their society and brought with them gifts for the child. In excitement, the parents of the boy asked? "How did you know? Their answer was, a star in the sky guided them until they reach the place. By the way they came from far away places. So when they returned home, the news about this person has already spread out before it spreads out in his place of birth.

Mission Impossible ....

I mentioned in my previous post that this Person was born with a Mission. What is His Mission? well, the strange creature mentioned it when he told His mother's boyfriend, the Mission is "to save His people from their sins". this Mission indicates several issues that makes this a "Mission Impossible". Here are some reasons why this is impossible.

• How can He identify His people?


• Will His people recognize Him?


• Will His people recognize that they are in sin?


• What is His qualifications to become a savior?


• Will the people believe Him and His claims?


• Will the people finally trust Him?
  

Imagine yourself meeting this Person and told you that "you are doomed and you need someone who can save you and that is me".... How would you react? After some thoughts you will probably agree that His Mission is Mission impossible.

Beginning to know the mysterious Person...

The first meeting with the guy was the beginning of long and regular meetings and most of the time its a one on one meeting. Our discussion revolved around the Person He introduce to me. Actually the name of the Person was not completely strange, I've been hearing about Him since childhood but I must admit that what I knew about this Person is distorted and until know I think I have not known Him fully but with the limited knowledge I have of Him is enough to convince me that this person is worth building my life on

My relationship with this Person is quite strange because:

• We live in different time - He was born about 2000 years ago but I was born in 1962.
• He was a middle eastern nationality while I am Filipino.
• We speak different language, although He is a multi-lingual that he understand all languages on earth one hundred percent.
• We did not met physically face to face, I just met Him through a Book and some words of mouth.
  

Despite these strange relationship what is important I would say is I can communicate with Him and He could communicate with me now! this makes the relationship works.

This person was born out of wedlock, when His mother was about to marry her boyfriend an unbelievable thing happened. Her mother got pregnant without having sex with anyone. How did it happened? It was a supernatural event. His mothers boyfriend upon knowing that she was pregnant had planned to break up the relationship quietly. I can imagine of course the dilemma, the hurts and feeling of betrayal that the guy has. But another strange thing happen. The night before he planned to break up the relationship, a supernatural being appeared to him and told him not to be afraid to take his girlfriend as wife. After all her girlfriend did not betrayed him but the boy inside her womb is a Person with a Mission. The mission is global and very important because the whole mankind will perish without knowing this Person that his girlfriend is about to give birth. Wow! I can just imagine if I was the guy, what should I do? or what will you do if you are the guy? Well if these are not all supernatural, I will immediately dismissed the proposal of this strange creature. I would wish that all these are just dreams that soon I will wake-up and find my beloved girlfriend whole and beautiful. But it was true and a decision has to be made. The boyfriend agreed and took the words of this supernatural being as is. He married the girl and controlled himself until she gave birth the Person I am talking about. I would like to thank this guy personally because if he refused to take the girl as a wife a dreadful thing may happen to his girlfriend. In their culture, getting pregnant without a husband is an adultery and it carry the punishment of stoning to death. If it happened I have no way of knowing this Person and life on earth will be hopeless, it will just revolve around "eating to living, living to eat" life and then die.

And I meet the Person...

I feel a little bit confident living in the City. I survived the most difficult time in college for a country boy. I begun to make friends and started to speak the language, the worst is, the first words I learned was cursing words... I feel big whenever i speak those words. At last I am a city boy. I had a classmate who spoke my native language and naturally drawn to her because of that. She had her circle of friends but I never bother to relate with them. But one day she ask me if I wanted to have a discussion group which I immediately said Yes. The first meeting was only with a guy who is in the higher year than me. He begun by asking me a very funny question " Do you have 15 minutes, so that I can share to you something?" he asked. "Of course that's the reason I was there!" I was having a hint that he will be talking religious thing. Personally, I like to debate on religious issues because my mother has been telling a lot of stories about beliefs. Some I believe some I do not specially that I do not see her religiosity affecting her way of dealing with people and her way of life as whole. Practical Living is different from her religiosity.
Back to our meeting... He said that a Person up there loves me but I am hindered to see and feel that love because there is a gap between me and that Person. But He gave the remedy for that Gap by dying just to reach me out. Uh uh! I never knew of a Person who loves me and fanatically died just to let me know. That's ridiculous!!!. But then he pulled out a book where he read what he was saying.... Hmm that's interesting... and I begun to notice this Person that later captivated my heart ....

The Beginning

I was a shy country boy who happen to be in the urban area where everything seems new. I step in College with very innocent look and more innocent in action. As a poor boy, I have to bring my lunch in school since food in the canteen was beyond my pocket's capacity. At lunch time I go up to the highest floor of the building and quickly eat my packed lunch not wanting to be seen by anybody. I thought I was the only one bringing a packed lunch and that others are just buying their food in the canteen. I was drinking the water coming out of the faucet in a laboratory room. I've been doing that for almost a semester. One day after a quick lunch I went down to meet a friend, passing by the canteen I was surprised with what I saw. Guess what? .. You're correct, there are so many students and employees eating there with their packed lunch!!! But still it did not gave me courage to eat my lunch in the canteen, now my worry was my food is not as good as their packed lunch.
My pocket money is just enough for my fare to school and back, but one day I lost my 25 cents. It means I have to walk one of the rides back home. I was taking two rides from home to school and back. the first ride from school is shorter than the other ride, and I have to choose which stretch am I going walk. I was ashamed to be seen by my classmates walking home so I took the shorter ride from school and walked the longer stretch back home. It took me one and a half hour to reach home. My sister was already worrying that I might got lost.
My grades during the first semester were not good either, I felt that the lessons are going so fast and it was beyond my capacity to comprehend. I almost failed in 3 subjects and one those is Mathematics a subject that will determine whether you are for engineering or not. But anyway my first year has ended.... and a little bit adjusted in city life and in college life...
